Refund and Return Policy for Mage Gear 3D Printing

At Mage Gear 3D Printing, we take pride in the quality of our prints. However, we understand that issues can arise. Please review our policy below regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Standard/In-Stock Items: Orders for pre-printed or standard inventory items may be cancelled for a full refund if the request is received before the item has shipped.
  • Custom/Made-to-Order Items: Because custom orders are manufactured specifically for you, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of placing the order. After this window, production may have already begun, and a cancellation fee of 50% will apply to cover material and labor costs.

2. Returns and Refunds

A. Standard Items

We accept returns on non-custom, standard items within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be in their original, unused condition.
  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Once we receive and inspect the item, a refund will be issued to your original payment method (minus original shipping costs).

B. Custom and Personalized Items

Due to the nature of custom 3D printing (unique colors, sizes, personalized text, or custom models), we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on custom orders unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

3. Damages and Defects

Please inspect your order immediately upon reception.

  • Shipping Damage: If your item arrives broken or damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include clear photos of the damaged item and the packaging. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent at no extra cost.
  • Manufacturing Defects: If there is a functional defect or a significant print error, please contact us within 7 days. We will evaluate the issue and offer a replacement or a store credit.

Please Note regarding 3D Print Quality:

3D printed parts are manufactured layer by layer. Minor cosmetic imperfections, such as visible layer lines or small surface artifacts, are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and are not considered defects.

4. Material Care and Liability

Most of our items are printed in PLA (Polylactic Acid), which is a durable but heat-sensitive plastic.

  • Do not expose prints to high heat (e.g., leaving them in a hot car, direct summer sunlight, or the dishwasher).
  • Mage Gear 3D Printing is not responsible for deformation or damage caused by improper care or exposure to high temperatures. Warped items due to heat exposure are not eligible for replacement.

5. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return or report an issue:

  1. Email us at refunds@magegear.com.
  2. Include your Order Number in the subject line.
  3. Briefly describe the issue and attach photos if applicable.
